This is the best green bean casserole I have ever had.
Ingredients:
2 bags of frozen green beans (no cans and not French)
1/2 cup milk
1 can of Cream of Mushroom soup
1-2 teaspoons of reduced sodium soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 (6 oz) can of crispy onions
3/4 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1 jar of quartered artichokes, trimmed and sliced in half or chopped
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Cook green beans in salted water until tender, but still crispy. Drain the green beans and return to hot pot.
Combine the beans with soup, milk, soy sauce S&P, artichokes, cheddar cheese and half of the crispy onions. Mix well.
Bake in a casserole dish for 30-35 minutes. Cover dish with foil.
Remove from oven and stir.
Add remaining crispy onions on top and bake uncovered for 10 more minutes.
