Fast Taco Slaw

For tacos or as a side dish with BBQ.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup Mayo

1/4 cup lime juice

1/2 t cumin

1/2 t garlic powder

1/4 t salt

1/4 t cayenne pepper

14 oz shredded coleslaw mix

1/4 cup sliced green onion

1/2 cup cilantro

 

Directions:

In a large bowl, whisk together the mayo, lime juice, cumin, garlic powder, salt and cayenne.

Mix in the coleslaw mix, green onions and cilantro. Stir well and refrigerate for a hour. 

Mix well before serving.  

 

 

 

 



Horseradish Sauce

This is for beef tenderloin or corned beef.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup prepared horseradish, drained well (1 5oz jar)

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayo

2 Tablespoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard 

3/4 teaspoon salt

Heaping 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Heaping 1/8 teaspoon white pepper 

 Directions:

In a medium bowl, fold all ingredients together. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve. Best to refrigerate overnight, if possible.

Serve in a silver bowl. 

Optional: whip a half cup of heavy whipping cream and fold in to sauce mixture about a hour before you serve this.  

 

Holiday Spiced Whipped Cream

 

Ingredients:

3/4 cup whipped cream

2 Tablespoons sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 t vanilla extract

 Directions:

Beat until stiff peaks form.

This will keep in the fridge for 3-4 days.
